Observing that regular schooling, comprising the development of scholastic and co scholastic competencies, fall short of nurturing life skills in students; GDGPS Sector 48 Gurugram takes the responsibility of imparting essential life skills & real life application of concepts and igniting creativity & a resilient spirit in students by formulating the Center of Excellence Program.
The Centre of Excellence Program conducted by the school is legendary. Its beauty lies in its dynamism. Taking pride in the rich heritage of our country, this year the program was designed in alignment with our nations ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ program. Under Four Pillars, namely Education, HealthCare, Environment & Heritage, Goenkans engaged in skill based sessions, research work, field trips, expert sessions and creation of products. Led by the Student Led Clubs, Goenkans researched extensively on the four pillars. The findings were presented in the form of 'Kaushal Mela’. Students displayed their creativity with self-created products, performances and presentations, synthesizing ideas and expanding on learning gained. The highlights of the Kaushal Mela were Live Singing, Folk performances, Nukkad Natak, Interactive sessions and Fun Games that students presented to the parents.
A living example of the power and passion of Goenkans, the Kaushal Mela was a roaring success as students, along with their parents, grandparents and friends enthusiastically participated in the event. Breaking all barriers created by the pandemic, the students rose like a phenoex, inspiring everyone with their positive energy.
