WORKSHOP ON ACCOUNTANCY

A workshop on Accountancy was conducted on May 06, 2023 at Indian Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. The workshop was organised by SULTAN CHAND & SONS (P) LTD. There were 2 renowned resource persons for the session -  CA. (Dr.) G.S. Grewal , Charted Accountant and Pracademic, F.C.A Phd, CAL (IIAM), Author of popular books on Accountancy for CBSE and ISC board member of committee for development of E-content on Accountancy for NCERT, has addressed more than 600 Seminars across India and Mr. R.K. Khosla having teaching experience of about 50 years, is co-author of book of Accountancy, ex- Faculty member of NIRC of ICAI.

The main focus was on changes in syllabus for the academic year 2023-24, salient features of NCF, applicability of Accounting Standards, project work and current trend of question paper. The session was well organised and very fruitful as there were many things to learn and takeaways which includes alignment of classes while teaching, issues in the topic-partnership, discussion on Accounting Ratio, etc. The workshop was concluded with Q & A.  All the participants shared their feedback of the session. Workshop material consisting of model questions and a certificate for attending the workshop was shared with all the participants.
