WORKSHOP BY BLUE PLANET

G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48 organized a workshop on 7th June, 2022 for the entire staff conducted by Mr. Krishna Kumar Gaur – Vice President, BLUE PANET.

BLUE PLANET works for sustainable environment. They specialize in smart segregation of waste at source. Their company has been approaching schools all over for creating awareness about ‘Smart Waste Collection System’. As planet warriors they believe in recycling of plastic and paper. Thereafter, sustainable and usable school furniture and books are manufactured from the segregated waste, for the government schools and NGO’s.

G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48 is amongst the top 10 schools and is already working towards the same goal. Their proposed plan will encourage school children and teachers to develop the habit of segregation and which in turn would gain them incentives.

It was an enriching session which gave everyone an insight about creating sustainable environment and being a responsible citizen.
