WEBINAR- GOOGLE TOOLS WITH HARPREET

A webinar- Google tools with Harpreet was organized by Mahattattva. Resource person-Harpreet is an enthusiastic and trained educator, passionate about technology and taught how it can make the teaching/ learning process more effective. She has over 20 years of experience teaching Indian as well as International students from K-12. A keen learner and a resourceful teacher, Harpreet is the Founder & Leader of GEG Ludhiana. Harpreet is also a Google Certified Level 1 & Level 2 Educator.

The main highlights of the program were various interesting google apps and tools which can be used to make our sessions interesting for students especially when we are in this online mode. The resource person gave an insight about Google Classroom which is a free blended learning platform developed by Google for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students.

The resource person also gave an insight about Google Forms which is a survey administration software included as part of the free, web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google, which is a very effective resource for educators. This was followed by a  session of Google Slides which was very informative and interesting.

Overall the webinar was very informative as all the resources and information shared will be very helpful for teachers using G-Suite.
