VIRTUAL INTER SCHOOL EVENT - PRATIBIMB 2021

"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom."  - Aristotle.

Reflective thinking turns experience into insight. This thought was the guiding philosophy behind PRATIBIMB 2021, a virtual inter-school competition organised by G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48. GDGPS, Sector 48 has always believed in giving equal importance to creative expression and the development of twenty first century skills along with academics. The ultimate goal of G D Goenka Public School Sector 48 is to create well balanced individuals who are confident and rooted in good values.

The world should be a mirror that students can reflect upon. This was the perspective that led to the conception and execution of the second edition of PRATIBIMB 2021. More than 50 schools participated, with nine hundred participants engaged in healthy competition on a virtual platform. The competition was segregated into two parts, with the pre-recorded events on August 14, 2021 and live events on August 21, 2021. 

The live events commenced with prayers to the Almighty. The concept of PRATIBIMB is the brainchild of Ms Anuradha Handa, Principal of G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48. As she addressed the gathering, Ms Handa spoke about the vision of PRATIBIMB. She spoke about the importance of trusting young people to be great. She also emphasised on the need of students to diversify their interests beyond mere academics.  

Experts from all domains were invited to appraise the performance of the participants. The entire event was curated with care and received enthusiastically by everyone. It was hoped that such competitions would continue to be hosted by G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurgaon.
