VASP - VALUE ADDITION BY SCHOOL PARENTS

The VASP (Value Addition by School Parents) Programme is launched in the junior wing at GDGPS, Sec-48 as a novel approach to engage parents actively in the educational journey of their children. Recognizing the vital role parents play in a child's development, the school seeks to establish a platform that encourages parents to share their knowledge and experience with the students. The collaboration aims to create a seamless learning experience, enhance student engagement, and promote a sense of community within the school.

Parents are invited to volunteer as guest speakers based on their expertise and interests. A schedule is prepared, allocating specific dates for each parent's session to ensure regularity. A diverse range of topics are chosen, including science, performing arts, technology and life skills, to cater to various interests.

Many Parents have successfully conducted their sessions in the month of July. They have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to contribute and actively participate in the school community. The Parent-VASP Programme has been a resounding success and will continue through the session, fostering robust school-parent collaboration and enriching the learning environment. By inviting parents to share their expertise, students have benefitted from diverse perspectives, mentorship, and inspiration.
