UNVEILING CUET IN CONFAB WITH PIONEERS FROM DU

An informal yet informative session was held at the DAV School, Sector 49 to familiarize the students of class XII with the latest developments with regard to admission processes in the Delhi University. The resource persons were Mr. Behera, Admissions Office in DU, Mr. Tuteja, Joint Dean in DU. The audience consisted of various class XII students from around 10 schools of Gurugram.
The CUET format was dealt in detail, right from the duration of the application process to the format of the test, the combinations required for a certain undergraduate degree, the percentage of marks expected to the admissions under the extra curricular and sports, which would also require the CUET. The test had three components of Section 1A- 13 languages ,1B- 20 languages, Section 2- 27 Domain specific subjects, Section 3- General Ability Test (GAT). The resource persons also cautioned the audience of the negative marking. The test was open to gap year students, students opting to change their subjects wherein the best combination of subjects would be given to the students, as per the NEP guidelines.
