TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR FIRST AID AND MEDICAL EMERGENCY
(DECEMBER 06 TO 10, 2021)
Training for First Aid and medical emergency care as well as physical and mental health support was organized by CBSE and Expression India on virtual platform on the 6th, 8th and 10th December 2021. Dr. Rohit, Dr. Shakti, Dr. Ancy, Dr Anamika, Ms Hemlata and Ms. Nupur were the resource persons. More than 100 participants attended the training.
The training focused on the aim of First Aid and emergency care paradigm in schools that included how to perform CPR, definition and types of bandages, wound care, how to manage everyday minor accidents and learn how to treat an unconscious and breathing casualty and manage minor cuts bleeding, burns, etc.
First Aid training generally consists of a series of simple lifesaving techniques that an individual can be trained to perform with minimal equipment. All the participants learned the steps to perform first aid techniques and their treatment methods. The training has definitely built confidence and improvised necessary skills to perform first aid correctly.
