TRAINING ON PHONICS AND READING STRATEGIES

 A comprehensive online training session on phonics and reading strategies was conducted by the GDGPS team for teachers to strengthen early literacy instruction. The session focused on the systematic teaching of phonemic awareness, blending, segmenting, and decoding skills. Teachers were introduced to engaging techniques, such as sound games, storytelling, and guided reading practices, to build strong reading foundations. 

Emphasis was placed on using age-appropriate materials and differentiated instruction to meet varied learning needs. The training also covered strategies to develop vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. It aimed to equip teachers with effective tools to foster a love for reading and improve language proficiency among young learners.
