TRAINING OF TRAINERS BY CBSE

(APRIL 25 & 26, 2025)

CBSE TOT (Training Of Trainers) was an extensive two days training conducted in collaboration with ISTM at HDFC School, Gurugram on 25 &26 April 2025.

The primary objective of TOT program is to introduce the trainers to the changing space of training in the country. It aimed to equip CBSE Resource Persons with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to effectively train teachers across the country. By empowering these resource persons, the Board seeks to strengthen the capacity of teachers to implement innovative teaching methodologies, foster critical thinking, and promote holistic student development.

Leading the initiative was Mr. Inderjeet Mittal, an esteemed CBSE Trainer whose extensive national and international expertise is the driving force behind this program. Joining him as a key Resource Person was Mr. Kamaljeet, a seasoned CBSE Trainer with decades of service in state government training. The sessions also included Resource Persons Mr. Vipin Bhargava and Mr. Karamjeet Singh Sodhi, CBSE Master Trainer from Delhi.

The inaugural session set an inspiring tone, with Vipin Kumar Bhargava, urging all participants to embrace continuous growth and elevate those around them. Mr. Mittal’s dynamic opening featured a trainers’ pledge, a revered prayer, and insightful anecdotes, energizing attendees for the journey ahead.

He clearly defined the goals of the training program, including what the participants are expected to learn and how they will be assessed. He explained how the training program was structured and delivered, including the schedule, format, and resources used. Various training methods were used, such as lectures, workshops, simulations, role-playing, and group discussions. Towards the end a demo class was prepared by group of teachers who presented the lesson using all the pointers learnt during the session wherein the resource person judged them on the basis of the training.

The feedback form was given to each individual where the participants wholeheartedly praised the training. Overall it was an efficient training for the trainers with lots of insights into various areas of training so that they can enlighten other new lot of trainers further.
