TEDDY’S PARTY

There is nothing quite like a bunch of delightful teddy bears to give you those warm fuzzy feelings. The Teddy Bear is one of the most popular toys for children, and holds a special place in many adults hearts, too. This lovable stuffed animal had a day, all of its own, in the Primary Wing. “Teddy’s Party” a special day organised for the children of Pre-Nur to KG gave a chance to the young learners to bring out their empathy and compassion to another being. Since the children take care of the stuffed toy, similar to an adult taking care of their child, they fantasize and reflect the attention and care they feel on the stuffed animal which is very important for the development of their social-emotional skills.

The day was full of fun activities and children enjoyed their yummy snacks with their teddy. Children introduced their teddy bear to the entire class one by one. A beer cave was built and the teachers told the story of ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’ to the children near the bear cave.

Activities such as bowling, cricket, photo booth, bear cave, balancing bars kept the children engaged.
