TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

Teachers’ Day is a day to which both teachers and students look forward. It is not just the commemoration of the birth date of one of the finest teachers of India, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, but is also a celebration of the teaching profession itself.

Teachers Day Celebrations continued for the Goenkan staff even after 5 September and culminated with a grand lunch party at Hotel The Leela, Ambience Gurugram on 8 September 2019. An afternoon of complete fun and togetherness was organised for the teachers by the school management. It gave an ideal opportunity for the teachers to showcase their ‘fashionista wardrobe’, mingle informally with one another in a congenial atmosphere and capture many ‘selfies and shutterbug’ moments.

The staff welcomed the school Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa, the Head-Mistresses, Ms. Shrishti Bajaj and Ms. Shalini Tandon and Coordinators. Cheered on by their colleagues, many teachers showcased their talent through splendid performances. More happy moments followed as the teachers played interactive games together. The coup de grace was a self-choreographed dance by the Principal and her team. All the teachers danced with gay abandon to the full-on masti wala DJ tunes. The incharges expressed their love and the school’s appreciation for all the staff members and their contribution to making GDGPS one of the finest schools of Gurugram. The day was replete with bonhomie and unsurpassed pleasantness.
