TEACHER TRAINING OF G D GOENKA LA PETITE MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL TEACHERS

Teacher tribe is a vision of La Petite team who aim this to be a place where teachers get together to connect, share stories, ideas, resources and learn strategies to become better on professional and personal levels. The mission of this tribe is to support teachers holistically as complete human beings. “Sensorial Exploration”, the First Teacher Tribe of this session was held on Saturday, May 07, 2022 and catered to using Montessori sensorial materials which helps children develop and refine their five senses. The training helped to develop an in depth understanding of the Montessori tools and how to effectively use them for the young children.

Teachers all across G D Goenka La Petite attended the workshop. The discussion offered the participants opportunities to directly address queries and doubts they harbored and sought clarification of issues faced during their classroom experiences. The participants were enthusiastic, interactive and very keen to share their anecdotes related to their classroom experiences.

Montessori sensorial materials help children develop and refine their five senses. These materials are auto didactic. It promotes independence and problem solving amongst the children.
The learnings were great, the camaraderie was priceless and the peals of laughter were the cherry on the cake.
