SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON GURUPURAB PATH OF COMPASSION AND UNITY

The assembly on Path of Compassion & Unity was conducted to mark the occasion of Guru Purab and to introduce students to the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in a simple and meaningful way. The program began with a short prayer followed by a soulful Shabad, which created a calm and spiritual environment in the assembly area. The students of Class I–D confidently spoke a few lines about the life and values of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, focusing on his message of equality, compassion and service to humanity.

Through simple examples and child-friendly language, the children learned that Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught people to respect everyone irrespective of caste, religion or background. A small role play depicted the idea of sharing and caring, where students enacted scenes of helping a friend and including everyone in play. This helped reinforce the values of unity and kindness in a way they could easily understand.

The assembly concluded with a short message by the Headmistress, connecting Guru Nanak’s teachings with daily life habits such as helping classmates, speaking politely and showing gratitude. This assembly not only enhanced moral and value education but also helped students develop confidence, stage presence and cultural awareness. It left a positive impact on the young learners and inspired them to follow the path of goodness and harmony in their day-to-day life.
