SPECIAL ASSEMBLY- CHRISTMAS

Christmas is that wonderful time of the year which resonates with joy, mirth, family and togetherness. The true spirit of Christmas lies in being grateful to the Lord and making the world a more loving place to be. The jingling bells of Santa were heard loud and clear on the virtual platform shared by the Goenkans of GDGPS, Sector 48, Gurugram through a blissful and lovingly crafted Christmas assembly by the students of middle wing on December 24, 2020.

This Christmas assembly reminded the viewers that Christmas is an emotion which is to be felt beyond the reveiving and giving of gifts and merriment. This assembly strengthened our faith into the doctrine of sharing and caring through the rendition of soulful Christmas Carols and led us into revisiting the milestone story of the birth of Jesus Christ and his holy teachings.

The smooth flow of the assembly through the news and the thought of the day set the tone for more things to come. The excitement was palpable through the energetic Christmas theme-based Zumba and beautiful songs sung by the Goenkans who looked resplendent in outfits matching the festive fervour. The high energy of the assembly was given an even more festive cheer by the address of School Principal and the Headmistress who blessed all the Goenkans and urged them to be a Santa in the life of others. The assembly ended on a high note by leaving the door open for a bonding time through a class party. Santa must have been surely happy!
