SESSION - SELF REFLECTION

IDM or I Discover Me is a very significant programme which aims at providing opportunities and guidance to students in discovering aspects about themselves through which they can further decide the career path to choose.

In the IDM session, “Self Reflection”  for  the students of classes IX and X, the students were engaged in a fruitful discussion about how it is important to do self reflection and aspire for a career that matches their personality and aptitude. A follow up exercise of the school cinema session conducted during COEP based on this theme was taken up with the students which helped them analyse their strengths and weaknesses. 

To help them understand the steps of Career Decision Making, a Self Assessment Questionnaire was completed by the students which helped them reflect upon how confident they feel about taking a career decision.

The session not only helped students identify their strengths but also gave them a platform and path on which they could ask and assess at the same time. The session was well received and appreciated.
