PARENT ORIENTATION (APRIL 02, 2022)

While we embark upon an exciting and stimulating on-campus journey of 2022-23, we believe in strengthening our vision and mission, stressing upon the centre points of achieving excellence in every sphere. Being mindful of the outcome, the Orientation Programme for parents was conducted on April 02, 2022 for Primary and Secondary blocks respectively, to apprise the parents of the school’s infrastructure, scholastic and co-scholastic segments, communication channels, the Goenkan learning environment, the online and hybrid learning experiences and a sneak-peak into the upcoming year ahead.

The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting followed by our Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Handa taking the parents through a detailed presentation giving a clear view of the learning parameters and innovative methods being used across the school. 

Thereafter Headmistress (Primary)Mrs Srishti Bajaj and Headmistress (Secondary) Ms Shalini Tandon took the parents through the school’s ethos and the teaching pedagogies for Primary and Secondary wings respectively. The achievements, awards, infrastructure and amenities provided to the students were shared proudly. Our transparency and open communication were stressed upon as they are reflected through our various programmes, social platforms, monthly newsletters and class magazines. The parents were familiarised with the teaching pedagogies, term wise curriculum, skills, activities, events and how integration plays an important role in learning in a wholesome manner. 

The sessions were further taken by the class specific representatives showcasing how each day is filled with hands on learning at school was shown. The class reps shared how we make sustained efforts each day to inculcate values, knowledge, skills and innovation by engrossing students in an array of activities providing them abundant growth opportunities.

While the parents attended the session, the children were engaged in varied activities, listening and speaking, feeling and expressing, meeting their teachers and collaborating together conquering their fears of improbability and channelizing their energies to evolving and progressing into a new phase of their lives.

The day was indeed insightful and enriching. It was highly acclaimed by the parents.
