NATIONAL DAY OF FRANCE

LE QUATORZE JUILLET: BASTILLE DAY

G D Goenka Public School, Sector-48, Gurugram acknowledged and celebrated the 'National Day of France' on 14th July, 2023 the Goenkan way. Vivacious students of classes V to VIII were empowered about being global citizens and to be an integral part of multilateral world.

The celebrations of Le Quatorze Juillet or La Fete Nationale began with a morning assembly. The zealous students were decked up as famous French personalities, they relished scrumptious food like croissant, crêpe, éclair. They were engaged in numerous activities such as French Flag making, bookmark making. They even sang and tapped feet on French songs.

The school was embellished in the French colours – blue, white and red. The exhilaration of students and teachers was evident throughout. The day marked children’s passion and curiosity about the French language and culture. The commemoration accentuated the need to be appreciative of the customs, strengthen harmony and unanimity among the citizens of India and France.
