MODEL ASSEMBLY

The start of something new brings the hope of something great.

‘Well begun is half done’. A high-quality morning assembly is one of the most important aspects of GDGPS, sec 48 curriculum. They act as one of the main ways by which we create our positive reflective ethos and promote our value-based education. To begin the day with an alert mind, meaningful thoughts and definite focus, a properly planned Model assembly based on the theme ‘Complete Focus’, was conducted by the activity teachers to acquaint the children with the standard format of a Goenkan assembly as well as to make them feel inspired to start the new session with renewed energies and focus.

The assembly started with positivity of the morning prayer and was followed by positive affirmations, Thought of the day, News headlines and the School Anthem. A wonderful skit was presented by the activity teachers depicting the “Value of being focused”. The young learners were pleasantly surprised as the teachers performed on the stage and showcased the composition of a Goenkan Assembly.

Principal Mrs Anuradha Handa and Headmistress Ms Srishti Bajaj addressed the students respectively and inspired them to start the new session with aspiring goals.

It was a well presented and inspiring assembly. Overall, the students learnt the benefits of staying focused and concentrating on their objectives in life.
