LEADERSHIP CAMP – STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS

A capacity and competency building leadership workshop was conducted for the student council members of the session 2023-24 on an off-site as well as in the school campus of GDGPS sector 48, Gurugram. The student council members were introduced to various team building and leadership enhancing adventure activities at Rocksport Adventure Sports, Gurugram, in the first part of the day, wherein they learnt the skills of collaboration, multi-tasking, critical thinking and decision making.

The second part of the workshop was conducted in school premises by Ms Sanjana Seth, Managing Director, Augment London, UK and the Governor of Sunnyfields Primary School.

The main areas of focus were student leadership theory, principles of student leadership, practical skills required to lead efficiently and the Socrates Method of Critical Thinking & Problem Solving. Through the sessions- ‘Learn to Lead’ and ‘Train to Think’, the student leaders gained insights into nuances of leadership skills and benefitted from the workshop.
