INVESTITURE CEREMONY

“Great leaders harness personal courage, capture the hearts and minds of others and empower new leaders to make the world a better place.” Incited with this thought a prestigious event that marks a significant milestone in the school’s calendar, The Investiture Ceremony, was held at G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, with great zeal and pride on  July 18, 2023.

The Investiture Ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Ms. Anuradha Handa and Senior Wing Incharge Ms Shikha Sharma. Student leaders took their positions on the stage ready to don the mantle of leadership, receiving badges from the Principal. The head girl and boy administered the oath of office, and pledged to uphold the guiding principles of the school.  

For parents, it was a moment of great pride as they witnessed students walk the path of leadership set forth by their predecessors.   The encouraging words from Principal Ms Anuradha Handa filled the council member’s heart with firm determination and resolve to do their best and bring glory to the position that they hold. While congratulating the future leaders, Principal Ma’am said ‘The Investiture Ceremony is not just about leadership; it is also a celebration of the democratic values that G D Goenka School holds. We believe that this ceremony not only recognizes their efforts but also encourages them to continue striving for excellence."

The head boy and head girl, in their respective speeches, thanked their mentors for exhibiting trust in them. They also shared the Student Council roadmap for the current session. 

The ceremony concluded with the rendition of Vote of thanks and National Anthem.
