INAUGURATION OF CAREER COUNSELLING LAB

The School’s career Counselling Lab was inaugurated on Tuesday, 17 May 2022. The event was graced by Ms. Amrita Ghulati, Director of IC3, Ms. Devyani Kapoor, founder, CEO of EDUDEVS; the school of inspired teaching & learning and Maheshwara Chaitanya, Director Admissions Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Ms. Nomita Mehta, Academic Evaluator at IC3 Institute and Ms Pooja Yadav from DAV School judged the presentations. The event started by invoking the blessings of Lord Shiva, the Ultimate Reality, one who resides in passive awareness, who is seen in various forms and worshipped by various names through a dance performance.

The school counsellor, Ms. Dipti Yadav gave an insight into the deep ocean of career exploration. The entire Class XII was divided into nine groups. Student groups conducted an initial review of the research topic. They collected data for career exploration involving a variety of methodologies based on the research parameter assigned. At the end of the research project, students summarised their analysis and discussed their conclusions to provide answers to the questions to identify their future directions .All their findings were depicted in informative presentations.

Arjun of class VI recited a self-composed poem on the environment which was eye-opening and thought provoking. The results were announced by Ms Amrita Ghulati and all the guests expressed their delight to see well researched wonderful presentations.

The school Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa extended a vote of thanks to one and all present there. This was followed by the inauguration of the Career Counselling Laboratory of the school.
