IDM SESSION BY GUEST – MS. MEAGAN BLIGHT

An IDM session was held for students of higher secondary wing in the School Auditorium on 8th September2022.It started with a warm welcome to the session holders- Wesleyan College’s 26th President, Ms Meagan Blight and Mr Abhishek Gupta, a career coach and founder of Asia’s largest parent, student and educator community- High School Moms. which was followed by a brief introduction of the event by the school comperes. Mr Abhishek Gupta took the stage to welcome Ms Blight and set the context for the session on Leadership.
Ms Blight spoke about how career decisions play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of students. According to her, the one who can keep up with the trends is definitely going to ace the competition. As the new career options emerge, new skills are demanded in the industry and a student needs to be aware of these advancements. She added that Wesleyan's environment is the perfect place for high school grads to start their college career as the College strives to enhance the student experience through active and diverse engagement opportunities in the Wesleyan community. The College provides students with a variety of programs, workshops, and services to help them develop key leadership skills outside of the classroom. The College also offers a LIT program, which is a four-year, application-based student leadership program that provides direct, hands-on leadership development opportunities for undergraduate students in collaboration with other major campus departments.
The Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa extended a vote of thanks to the guests. It was indeed a share worthy experience.
