IDE-INNOVATION, DESIGN THINKING & ENTREPRENEURSHIP, BOOT CAMP

(NOVEMBER 29 & 30, 2024)

The Computer Science Faculty attended the IDE Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Boot Camp organized by The  Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, New Delhi in collaboration with the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) jointly with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) from 29th November till 30th November 2024 at the IILM University, Gurugram. 

This workshop was graced with the Chief Guest being Dr Manoj Sharma (Sr Specialist,SCERT.Haryana). The Guests Of Honour were Mr. Manoj Kaushik (Head, Educational Technology Wing, SCERT, Haryana)  and Mr. Ankush Gawri (Manager-IP & Technology Transfer MoE Innovation Cell). The proceedings of this insightful workshop were chaired by Dr. Ruchi Pant (Entrepreneurship Educator-Wadhwani Foundation), Ms. Aishwarya Aggarwal (Senior Associate-Wadhwani Foundation), Mr. Priyanshu Jain & Mr. Ashish Shrivastava  (IILM University- MBA Faculty), Mr. Apoorva Chamaria (Head of Partnership,Solutions, Startups and Venture capital-Google India), Mr. Sunil Bajaj, Joint Director (State Council of Educational Research & Training , Haryana) and Dr. Sangeeta Maini(Director- Centre of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and I-FLIE HUB Incubator). They aimed at mentoring and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among secondary school students, teachers, and principals, thereby focusing on Design Thinking, Problem Solving and Business Model Development as the base streams. This interactive initiative targeted secondary and senior secondary students for them to embrace the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across schools. This Boot Camp was an encouraging and enriching platform to learn the latest and diverse pedagogies of the field.
