ICT WORKSHOP FOR FOUNDATIONAL YEARS TEACHERS

An engaging workshop for the foundational years teachers was conducted by Ms Simpy Sharma, Data & Resource facilitator for Junior wing at GDGPS Sec 48, Gurugram to introduce and demonstrate the practical application of digital tools such as Canva, Magic School, Twinkl, and other AI-based resources in classroom settings. In this session, Ms. Sharma imparted the knowledge and insights gained from the AI Mahatatva training to her colleagues, ensuring the dissemination of innovative teaching strategies across the foundational years.
This initiative aimed to empower teachers with the necessary skills to integrate technology effectively into their teaching practices, thereby enhancing the learning experience for young students.
Key Highlights:
- Canva: Teachers were introduced to Canva for creating visually appealing classroom materials, presentations, and educational content.
- Magic School: Demonstrations on how Magic School could be used for interactive learning, making lessons more engaging and immersive for students.
- Twinkl: Training on Twinkl resources, focusing on lesson planning, printable resources, and interactive activities tailored for early years education.
- AI Resources: Exploration of various AI tools to personalize learning, support differentiated instruction, and foster creativity among students.
The workshop was well-received by the teachers, expressing enthusiasm for incorporating these tools into their daily teaching practices. They appreciated the practical, hands-on approach and the relevance of the resources introduced.
By equipping teachers with modern tools and techniques, the workshop has set the foundation for a more interactive and technology-driven learning environment for foundational years students.
