I DISCOVER ME; CLASSES IX TO XII

(JUNE 2021)

In order to inspire the students to set higher goals in life, sessions were conducted by school counsellor Dr Dipti Yadav for students of classes IX & X on June 09,2021 and for the students of classes XI and XII on June 07 and 14, 2021.

The students were guided to the visualization activity and see a dream of the life they want for themselves. They were guided about the importance of having written and well-defined goals in the form of a Dream Board. The steps to create a dream board were shared with them.
Students were also guided about the importance of three components to be successful- Vision, Passion and Action.

Students were guided about the concept of IKIGAI- The Japanese concept of 'Reason for Being'. The four components to find your IKIGAI, discussion about the combination of all components with each other were discussed. Finding their Passion, Profession, Vocation and Mission through the four components was helpful in making the students intrinsically motivated to achieve their goals.
