EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO THE BANK

(DECEMBER 26 & 27,  2024)

On December 26 and 27 2024, the students of Classes 3 & 4 visited three different banks as part – ICICI, Axis and SBI, an educational initiative for the students to enhance their financial literacy skills. The visit aimed to introduce young learners to basic banking concepts in an engaging and interactive manner.

The bank staff warmly welcomed the students and explained the importance of saving money, the role of ATMs and digital banking in daily life. The students delved into the real-world applications of financial concepts, banking operations, and customer service. The children were excited to witness various banking operations and actively participated in the session, asking insightful questions. As a thoughtful gesture, the bank presented each student with a folder with banking slips, small stationery gifts and chocolates, bringing smiles to their faces.

Back at school, the students reinforced their learning by completing a related worksheet designed to test their understanding of banking and financial concepts. The visit proved to be an enriching experience, sparking curiosity and promoting financial awareness among the young learners.
