EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

April 22, 2021 marked the 51st anniversary of Earth Day. The theme for Earth Day 2021 is Restore Our Earth and it features five pillars, one of which is providing students with high-quality education to advance climate and environmental literacy. GDGPS sector-48 celebrated this event on the virtual platform with the students of middle and senior wing with zeal and enthusiasm.To aware and sensitize the student  about “The Earth Day”,  an informative Powerpoint presentation  was shown which depicted and showcased -  The Earth Day - ‘Need of the Hour’, its significance and theme of this year (Restore Our Earth). Students also watched interesting video relating to the theme of this year and enjoyed  playing  informative Quiz. The best part of the day was self-created poem and ideas shared by our young Goenkans.

The day was marked not only by awareness but also with lot of enthusiasm on part of students.
