DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

A workshop was conducted by By Carte Blanche on the topic Digital Transformation and Holistic Learning on January 16, 2023. The workshop started with defining the role of DTHL Coordinator. Roles and responsibilities of such coordinators were discussed, with respect to student, teacher, parent training, and hand holding of students. Some insight was given on the various types learning like online, distance, remote, blended-student bringing gadgets and flipped learning.

A detailed discussion was held on Hybrid Learning which included all formats that will help in learning simpler like peer teaching learning, experiential learning, adaptive learning, collaborative learning, aetaverses – avatar mixed reality, etc. Also there was a discussion on Gen Extra Muros pedagogy which is based upon five teaching resources in one class session or called as Class Managers. DTHL coordinator will look into IT infrastructure, starting and ending of the class, digital resources needed to conduct the class, entry and exit of students, student attendance, responsible for virtual field trips, etc.,

Hybrid implementation will be initiated firstly for class VIII. Teacher training on multiple Microsoft tools will be held between 6 Feb to 13 Feb 2023. In near future, every student will have an individual Microsoft  account.

Overall it was a very enriching session.
