DESIGN THINKING & INNOVATION

An online seminar on Design Thinking and Innovation was attended by our school teachers conducted by the resource person – Dr. Ravi Puvaiah from IIT Mumbai. The seminar dwelt on how to cultivate out of the box thinking for students of classes VI- XII. 

It dealt with more hands-on experiences than theoretical knowledge, thereby increasing the curiousity and the creativity of the students. A curriculum had been developed by IIT, Mumbai titled TASK BOOKS; keeping in line with NEP 2020 and the SDG goals.  These task books have been essentially designed to teach Science and Math concepts to the students without as much teaching them theoretically and applauding and encouraging their creativity.
