CONFLUENCE 2019

G D Goenka Group organized ‘Confluence 2019 – Empowering Educators’ for the leaders of  all the G D Goenka  schools  at G D Goenka Education City, Sohna from June 20 to June 22, 2019. G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurgaon team  was represented by the School Principal Ms Anuradha Handa, Junior Wing Headmistress Ms Srishti Bajaj, Middle Wing Incharge Ms Shalini Tandon and Academic Coordinator Ms. Ritesh Sharma . They attended all the sessions and participated actively in all the discussions during the three day event.    

Ms Bharati Sharma, Senior Director, Academics, G D Goenka Group of Schools, welcomed all the delegates and personally supervised all the arrangements at the venues. Mr. Rakesh Bajaj, extended a very warm and hearty welcome to all the Heads of Schools and other leaders present at the venue to extend support and guidance to the core team . 

The guest speakers included Mr. Anil Swarup - Former Secretary, School Education, MHRD,   Dr. Pratibha Jolly - Former Principal , Miranda House College and Dr. Achal Bhagat - Psychiatrist on day 1. Well  known theatre Artists, Mr. Rakesh Bedi,  Mr. Satya Narayanan  and Mr. Anurag Tripathi from CBSE lead the sessions day 2. Dr. Vinayshil Gautam, former director IIMK and Dr Satbir Bedi, chairperson NCTE were the speakers for day 3. All the speakers have the same vision asking the students to be future ready and acquire the skills to use technology in the best possible way. Interactions during the three day confluence also helped educators clarify their doubts regarding the CBSE reforms and vision.

It was truly a memorable and enriching experience for every educator present at Confluence 2019.
