CHILDREN DAY CELEBRATIONS, 2024

Children’s Day was celebrated with grand splendor and fun at G D Goenka Public School Sector 48, Gurugram on November 14, 2024.The day is celebrated to pay tribute to our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru lovingly called as ‘Chacha Nehru’. 

The Children’s Day celebration began by a warm welcome given by the Class Teachers with tilak and wishing them with gretting cards. Interesting activities were conducted in the class considering the excitement of the children. A Special Assembly was conducted for children with teachers holding the stage and putting up a mesmerising presentation.  The school Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa addressed the children and talked about the importance of the day. A dance workshop was organised for the children to learn with fun. There were some interesting sports activities also planned for the children.

It was a fun- filled day for the students as they enjoyed the day thoroughly with different activities, assembly and sports. The day ended with the children going home with smiles. The school campus resonated with excitement and laughter.
