BAISAKHI CELEBRATION

On April 12, 2024, the GDGPS Junior Wing buzzed with excitement as it celebrated the joyous festival of Baisakhi. The activity studio was adorned with vibrant decorations, setting the stage for a memorable day of festivities and learning.

 

Through interactive sessions, students delved into the significance of Baisakhi and its cultural importance. Guided by their teachers, the young learners learned about the rich traditions and customs associated with the festival, gaining a deeper understanding of their cultural heritage.

 

In addition to the cultural aspect, the children also embarked on a learning journey about the significance of wheat, a staple crop closely linked to Baisakhi. They discovered the lifecycle of wheat, from seed to harvest, gaining insights into the agricultural practices that sustain our food supply.
