ASSEMBLY - WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY

(AUGUST 02, 2022)

“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

This was the theme of the assembly presented by the students of 10 C. The assembly started with a prayer, followed by the thought of the day and news from around the world. The students emphasized the need for today’s generation to conserve nature and its natural resources. Students highlighted the need for celebrating such days as a reminder to all of us that we need to be caring towards Mother Nature.

The students presented a mime act which sent across the message in a very crisp manner. This was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance by the girls highlighting the need to spread awareness about conserving nature’s bounty and essentially not harming the environment. The Headmistress, Ms. Shalini Tandon emphasized to the children the importance of conserving nature for future generations. She congratulated the students for presenting such a wonderful assembly.
