ASSEMBLY V E - ‘A GOAL WITHOUT A PLAN IS JUST A WISH’

“A dream becomes a goal when action is taken towards its achievement. Stay focused, go after your dreams and keep moving towards your goals.”

With this thought in their minds the students of class V E presented an enriching assembly on the topic- ‘A goal without a plan is just a wish.’ Morning is the most important part of the day. A thorough morning routine that includes healthy habits and effective planning takes us far. The tone of the morning was set through the power and tranquility of Surya Namaskar. Three children performed the Yogasana on the powerful surya namaskar Mantra chanting. Thereafter, the Goenkan reporters updated everyone about the latest happenings in and around the world. Students shared motivational quotes and thoughts in English, Hindi, Sanskrit and French to reiterate the fact that goals tend to be backed by actions. There is a plan in place along with your efforts and an end date before which you must achieve your goals.

The highlight was the enactment, where the kids presented the importance and need of being inquisitive of the surroundings, being an observer and being determined to succeed in life and come out triumphant to reach the goal. 

They shared their roadmap on how their wishes can change to reality through efforts made in the right direction. The beautiful poem titled – Koshish Kar le Hal Niklega…. created a zeal in the entire audience. The assembly left everyone spellbound with their inspirational thoughts and an impressive dance performance on an inspirational song. Taking great pride in their school, the Goenkans of class 5 sang the school anthem. To further enlighten us, our mentor and our class rep addressed and interacted with the audience. With the beautiful message - Goals are something you want to be true, you put all your effort into making them come true, wishful thinking has never produced tangible results the way hard work and planning have,  the assembly came to an end.
