ASSEMBLY - TURNING OBSTACLES INTO OPPORTUNITIES AND PROBLEMS INTO POSSIBILITIES

With an aim to continue to instill the core values of determination, faith, positivity and clarity of vision in the personality of the Goenkans, class 7 presented a thoughtfully designed virtual assembly based on the topic ‘Turning Obstacles into Opportunities and Problems into Possibilities’ on July 16 2021. The virtual assembly commenced with the ritualistic prayer followed by the ‘Thought of the Day’ and the news read out by the confident Goenkans.

The comperes laid stress on the holistic development of the mind, soul and body, especially during the Covid dominated time and presented useful yoga ‘asanas’ and tips to remain healthy. To drive home the point, students of class 7 further presented a story based on the core theme of the assembly followed by a sensitively woven song expressing gratefulness, which was accompanied by a hand written message propped by the students as a tribute to the Corona warriors.

Keeping in mind the active contribution and guidance by parents, Class 7 also played host to two parents as special guests who shared their own experiences of life related to the core theme. This enriching window was further ornated by ‘Creative Corner’, wherein the talent of the students was displayed through their beautifully presented paintings, drawings etc. The flow of the assembly was further enriched by an address by the school Principal,                         Ms Anuradha Handa and Vote of Thanks by the Headmistress, Ms Shalini Tandon. The assembly was well received and appreciated.
