ASSEMBLY – THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
(SEPTEMBER 17, 2021)
The road to success is not always straight. There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, caution lights called family, flat tiers like disappointments and red lights in the form of self doubt. But, if you have a spare tyre called determination, an engine in the shape of preparation, the driver in the form of your faith in the almighty...then no one can stop you as you move towards your destination of achievements on the road to success.
To
highlight the valuable importance of immaculate preparation for exams so as to
ensure the path towards success has every stone unturned in a productive and
systematic patter, classes VIII D and E presented a virtual assembly
titled ‘The Road to Success: Exam Preparation and Achievements’ on
September 17, 2021. The empowering theme of the assembly was creatively woven
so as to dispel the fear of examination from the mind of the students, to act
as a torchlight to guide the students through meaningful preparation and to
reinforce the idea that failure is just a stepping stone towards success and
that a
systematic, organized, successful and a result-oriented approach
towards exams will surely lead to achievement.
The
assembly started with paying homage to the almighty through the rendition of
the ‘Gayatri mantra’, a soulful prayer and an Indian classical dance dedicated
to the ‘Guru’ as ‘Guru Vandana’. This was followed by a guided handholding
through the Covid protocols that must be observed by all. This included an
emphasis on keeping our mind, body and soul fit through meditation, yoga,
sports and strength building exercises. In continuation to keep the mind fit,
students shared the news platform and further enhanced it with ‘The Thoughts of
the Day’. The students proceeded to share with their peers the six fundamentals
of success and for acing the exam as pre-preparations mantras which were well
received. These six fundamentals were further driven home via a thoughtfully
crafted skit focusing on the same. The assembly was further enhanced by the exhibition
of the Creative Corner wherein the students displayed their astistic skills and
showcased their passions. The assembly culminated on an encouraging and
motivating note by the Headmistress Ms. Shalini Tandon who applauded the
students for their efforts and wished success to all for the exams while
reiterating on the importance of preparation and honest alignment and revision.
The assembly was able to achieve what it strived for.
