ASSEMBLY - TECHNOLOGY

An insightful assembly was put up by the students of IX-D, on the topic of Technology. It was opened by Moksha Sharma, who gave quite an artistic start to the assembly. As a ritual, this assembly too began with a prayer and a thought of the day, to give the event an elevating start. To keep the viewers updated, news was shared and details were shared of Project Taleem -  a special initiative by GDGPS to provide gadgets to students of Vidya school thus enabling them to have access to online classes.

The assembly was made interesting through an array of self-composed poems, soulful songs. Not only this, there was even a tech-themed dance and even Tech Trivia. Efforts of the Performing Arts team could be seen through a beautiful play they put together on not only the negative, but even the positive aspects of digital gaming. This was followed by a section 'Views of CEOs on Technology'. The assembly was brought to an end with a powerful message - Technology should help humanity, not replace it. The academic coordinator, Ms Ritesh Sharma congratulated the children on their efforts and reiterated the message that technology is best if it serves us and we should not allow it to master us. This assembly was yet another one of the many gems GDGPS, Sec-48 has produced in the form of events. Not only did viewers go back with valuable information, they received this knowledge in an entertaining manner.
