ASSEMBLY - STRENGTHENING OUR ROOTS

"A person without the knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots."

This was the message conveyed by the students of class VI-A who presented an assembly on the topic ‘Strengthening Our Roots’

 The morning sets the day and the assembly paves the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality. The serene early morning hours welcomed one and all to the school campus as the M.P hall  resounded with the school prayer, thought for the day and news headlines. The well planned assembly conducted by class VI-A provided them an opportunity to showcase their talent. Under the guidance of their mentors, the students demonstrated a Yoga presentation connected with the roots of our nation. The budding poets of Goenka shared their poems with the audience and won the hearts of the audience.

 The HeadMistress addressed the students and enriched them with her motivating words. The theme of the assembly helped the students to nurture the sense of patriotism and take pride in our rich culture and heritage. The assembly concluded with paying respect to the nation by singing the National Anthem.
