(JANUARY 14, 2022)

We all have the power to take our life in a new direction. On January 14, 2022, the students of class 9C and 9D presented an assembly on the theme, ‘New Hopes, New Beginnings’. It was the first assembly of the new year. The assembly started with a prayer, followed by the thought of the Day. While Trisha Roy emphasized on the role of the youth in bringing out changes in the world specially in sustaining our natural resources, Japjot reiterated on the need to build our immunity and stay healthy in the current times when covid has once again raised its ugly head.

Our special guest for the occasion Col. Pankaj Kumar shared his personal new year resolution and urged students to have their own set of resolutions for the new year. This was followed by a short film depicting beautifully the theme of the assembly. Children regaled the audience with a dance performance that had everyone humming the tune. The school Principal, Ms Anuradha Handa then addressed the children and emphasized the importance of setting new goals and making new beginnings. The assembly culminated with the Headmistress Ms. Shalini Tandon congratulating the children for their efforts and wishes them

well for their future endeavours.
