ASSEMBLY- ‘MAKE A DIFFERENCE’

The students of Class IV had their Special Assembly on January 30, 2023 and the theme was ‘Make a difference’. It started with the thought of the day and prayer. This was followed by a brief talk about the useful aspects of trees and its products. Students emphasized that there will not be any green left if we continue to pollute and destroy Mother Earth. Children spread out on the stage and displayed a formation to raise awareness on the Chipko movement. They dressed as villagers taking their positions in front of the ‘trees’ and holding hands to protect the trees.

The assembly ended with a song on saving the Earth- A promise song to save all living creatures. The children learnt that it is important to save our environment and how plants are important to us. The Chipko Movement was also explained to the students and they have clearly understood the need to save trees and thereby save Mother Earth.
