“When you focus on problems, you get more problems. When you focus on possibilities, you have more opportunities.”

Morning Assembly aims to create, nurture and sustain a sense of community. It serves to develop a positive school ethos resulting in harmony and pursuit of excellence in all its forms. Keeping the Theme ‘FOCUS’ in our minds, the students of class VI A of GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48 presented an enthralling assembly on the topic - ‘Focus on Possibilities Not Problems’. Problems are a mere indicator that you are growing and moving ahead. They need to be addressed and not complained about. Taking it as a challenge gives us the strength and courage needed to be able to face it and talk more about the possible solutions and not about the problems.

The assembly commenced by seeking blessings from God. It was followed by the Prayer dance and positive affirmations to instill the thought of finding solutions for every problem. Our Goenkan Reporters updated everyone with the latest happenings around the world. The Poem ‘Koshish karne walo ki kabhi haar nhi hoti’ filled everyone with enthusiasm. The theme of the assembly was discussed in detail by the students. To add on, a motivational video of Stephen Hawking was shared with the audience. An interactive session was conducted by the students asking questions related to real life problems. Further a song was presented by the class VI A emphasizing on the theme of the assembly. Our respected Headmistress Ma’am enlightened everyone with her inspiring words and applauded the efforts of the students and Teachers. The assembly concluded with the School Anthem and National Anthem.

It was overwhelming to see the students present so well. Students participated with enthusiasm and the assembly left everyone to believe in the motto - ‘I dwell in possibility’.
