ASSEMBLY – COVID HEROES

The Goenkan Nest Sec48 – YouTube Channel of GDGPS livestreamed the assembly presented by Class 10 students on the theme of ‘Covid Heroes’. The heart-warming presentation brought into spotlight the commendable contribution of teachers, doctors and soldiers in these difficult times. They were hailed as the real heroes of these times of the Pandemic panic.  

The assembly started with a prayer and followed by GDGPS’s updates in Goenkan News. The students focused on how teachers are working day and night to ensure continuous progression of student’s academic calendar and extra-curricular development. A meaningful skit showcased the practical challenges that the teachers encounter each day and yet meet their students in online classes with a smile, high enthusiasm and dedication each day. It was heartening to hear and see these students urging their fellow-mates to respect the guidelines prescribed by their teachers as part of online class decorum.

During assembly, the students expressed gratitude towards our doctors and soldiers through self-composed  poems. A beautiful dance performance was presented by students which gave a thanksgiving message. All hearts gladdened with a live performance of the song “Muskurayega India”.

The assembly was an impeccable montage of creative online elements effectively put together. The students amplified the maxim - Together we can, together we are, through their presentation.
