ASSEMBLY- ‘ CHRISTMAS FUN’

“Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh, hey!”

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

With this ecstatic spirit, students of Grade III presented a fun filled performance on the theme CHRISTMAS. Christmas is a very exciting and magical time of the year. Children wait to receive gifts from Santa Claus and get ready to welcome the New Year.

To have a fulfilled and joyous experience, the assembly began with Positive Affirmations as it brings positivity and gives a head start to the day. A day without prayer is a day without blessings, so to seek the blessings of the Lord Almighty; the assembly began with a soulful prayer. The Goenkan reporters updated everyone about the latest happenings around the world and in the country. Latest school news was also shared. 

Students joyfully presented the story of Jesus Christ through an enactment. They enjoyed singing carols in their melodious voice. The graceful dancers showcased their talent along with giving a fun filled performance. With their stunning headgears, the students shared the various ways of celebrating Christmas around the world. 

Love, warmth, joy, happiness, gifts...yes this is what the children associated the festival of Christmas with. At GDGPS, the children enjoyed these beautiful emotions with their friends, teachers and their beloved Headmistress ma’am.  We get the gift of learning which helps us grow and spread joy and happiness all around.

The final closing was also done by the Head Mistress of the Primary Wing, Ms. Srishti Bajaj. She appreciated the efforts of all the participants and applauded them for doing their best.
