“A Dream written down with a date becomes a Goal. A Goal broken down into steps becomes a Plan. A plan backed by Action becomes Reality.”

With this thought in our minds the students of class V A presented a mesmerizing assembly on the topic- ‘Being Goal - Oriented.’ Goal-Oriented means having an individual willingness to achieve a goal set. This willingness encourages and orients the person to develop habits to reach the results expected on this specific goal. A life with goals becomes exciting and challenging. And we all will agree that sometimes, we need to be smart with how we set our goals and achieve them.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God. To start the day with the blessings from almighty the assembly began with a prayer thanking God and seeking blessings in our lives. Thereafter, the Goenkan reporters updated everyone about the latest happenings in and around the world. The highlight was the Goenkan News. Students shared the positive affirmations to instill the thought of being goal oriented in their lives.

The Goenkans also reflected and reiterated upon their school motto - Higher, Stronger and Brighter. The beautiful poem titled - Lakshay created a zeal in the entire audience. The assembly left everyone spellbound with their inspirational thoughts. Taking great pride in their school and country the Goenkans of class 5 sang the school anthem and the national anthem.

To further enlighten us our mentor, The school principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa and the headmistress Ms. Shalini Tandon addressed and interacted with the audience. They continue to inspire us all to be goal oriented.

With the beautiful thought, “Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success”; the assembly came to an end.
