ASSEMBLY- MINDFUL EATING HABIT
(NOVEMBER 12, 2024)
“It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver”. To emphasize on the importance of healthy and mindful eating habits the students of class IV A presented the assembly on the topic, “Mindful Eating Habit”. The assembly commenced with the prayers and shared inspirational thoughts related to the topic. The Goenkan reporters updated everyone in a very creative way about the latest happenings around the world and in GDGPS through their news channel.
The assembly was followed by students explaining how our senses react to food we eat. They did this by inviting students from the audience and asking them to use their senses to think, feel, smell and taste. The whole activity was quite engaging and grabbed the audience's attention. The students then recited an insightful poem that highlighted the importance of cultivating healthy eating habits, staying mindful during meals and avoiding distractions.
Following this thought-provoking recitation, they performed a riveting Nukkad Natak that conveyed a powerful and impactful message, leaving the audience deeply engaged. Moving forward, the students showcased a vibrant dance performance. The assembly brimmed with energy and enthusiasm as students sang and danced to lively, foot-tapping melodies, enchanting the audience and compelling them to sway along with the rhythm.
The assembly culminated with a poignant quote, "Eating is an art; do it with devotion," leaving a profound impression on the audience and ignited the importance of a mindful eating habit. The assembly concluded with the Goenkans delivering the school anthem with remarkable zeal and enthusiasm, encapsulating the spirit of the occasion.
