AI TOOLS FOR TEACHER PRODUCTIVITY

A refresher training session was conducted on 11th July 2025, by Ms. Vibha Puri, focusing on enhancing teacher productivity through the effective use of AI tools. The session aimed to reinforce previously introduced concepts and tools, helping teachers integrate them more confidently into their daily workflows.

Teachers were guided on how to frame clear, specific prompts to get more accurate and useful responses from AI tools like ChatGPT. This skill enhances efficiency in lesson planning, content creation, and problem-solving. Further they were introduced to various other AI tools that could benefit the educators.

The AI tool NotebookLM helps summarize and analyze long documents. Teachers can use it to quickly generate insights from educational material, student notes, or research papers. A differentiation tool, Diffit that adjusts reading materials to different comprehension levels. It is especially useful for inclusive classrooms with varying student abilities.

Canva-A graphic design platform that assists in creating visually engaging teaching aids, presentations, worksheets, and social media content quickly and easily. Conker-This tool helps generate formative assessments like quizzes and comprehension questions based on given topics or texts, saving time and supporting continuous evaluation. An AI assistant, Magic School, designed for educators that offers support in drafting emails, writing lesson plans, creating rubrics, and more, streamlining administrative tasks.

The session successfully refreshed participants’ knowledge and usage of AI tools, equipping them with practical strategies to boost productivity, support differentiated instruction, and streamline both teaching and administrative tasks.
