ACTION RESEARCH WORKSHOP

(13 & 23 OCTOBER, 2021)

The workshop of ACTION RESEARCH, held at G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurgaon, was held under the aegis of Mahatatva led by Ms Deepti Sawhney and Ms Ojasvita Handa, under the guidance of the school principal, Mrs. Anuradha Handa. The first session of the workshop held on October 13, 2021 gave an insight of action research to 25 members who attended the workshop. These 25 members were divided in 5 groups and the groups were given a task to brain storm and frame an overarching question for the problem the group wanted the action research to be done.

The next session of the workshop was held on October 23, 2021 where the group presented their presentations under the broad heading of Bringing Students back to the School, post the 18-month lock down due to the pandemic. The overarching questions related to the subtopics subtopics like Effective Teaching learning, Students behaviour and classroom management, Role of Activity & sports and How to bring the systems back, were shared and a proposal was presented by each group to provide a quantifiable and quality solutions.

Overall it was a good brain storming and learning experience for all those who attended these two days session.
