REPORT TAIYAARI JEET KI ORIENTATION SESSION; CLASS XI (APRIL 28 TO 30, 2021)
 

 

“Success is the outcome of preparation and hard work.”

 

 

A three day orientation cum induction session programme titled – “Taiyaari Jeet Ki” was organised by GDGPS, Sector 48, Gurugram from April 28 – 30, 2021 to welcome class XI students for the Academic Session 2021-22 and give them an overview of the path ahead. The new senior secondary students were welcomed by the senior school counsellor, Dr Dipti Yadav. She extended special greetings to the new students.

 

The orientation began with “Taiyaari Jeet Ki”, session conducted by the School Principal,           Ms Anuradha Handa. She welcomed the students and gave them an overview of the new journey they had begun. She spoke at length about the responsibilities and requirements of senior school, and assured of all support from the school and the faculty. She apprised them of the orientation programme and interacted with the students to find out what was their expectations from being in senior school.


 

This was followed by the session “Power Of Words”,  a presentation by English teachers on the importance of English as a language, a subject and a skill. The students watched videos and participated in activities that made them see English not just as a subject but as a skill.

 

On the following two days – April 29 and 30, 2021, two more sessions titled “Hum Hai Sikandar” and “Jeet Jayenge Hum” were planned for the students which involved the students in meaningful sessions followed by group activities. The three day orientation not only informed and enriched the students, it also gave them an insight into senior school and many real life situations. They applied their knowledge and ingenuity to become self-learners who dazzled with their presentations.
