Great leaders always inspire and lead from the front. They are the pillars of any organisation. They take responsibility and dedicate themselves to their cause. Our respected Principal has always been a beacon of the mentioned values. Under the leadership of the Visionary Principal of the school, Ms Anuradha Handa, the school takes pride in its unique flagship programme- IDM- ‘I Discover Me’ that seeks to develop competencies for a successful and fulfilling life ahead. The programme caters to the needs of children in an age-appropriate manner, adapting beautifully to the ever-changing scenario of higher education and occupations in the future. The Programme runs through the four years of senior school providing them gradual exposure. The career counselling Lab is part of the vision of the management of the school.

Self-exploration process creates mental preparedness for sincere self-evaluation. Students become more and more empowered to find their true calling.

Like any other research project, career exploration requires information gathering and assessment, which can have unexpected discoveries and is a long-term process. For many students, career exploration can feel like an indefinite challenge.

So, How do you explore the unknown? Where do you begin to identify and keep track of the available options? Career resources exist in abundance, but how can you understand what to use and when? When do you know that the search is over and you can now make a decision?

To answer these questions, the school counsellor, Ms. Deepti Yadav gave an insight into the deep ocean of career exploration.

The entire Class XII was divided into nine groups. Student groups conducted an initial review of the research topic. They collected data for career exploration involving a variety of methodologies based on the research parameter assigned. At the end of the research project, students summarised their analysis and discussed their conclusions to provide answers to thequestionsto identify their future directions. All their findings were depicted in informative presentations.

Shouldering responsibilities is what is required from the youth today. The youth today will be the change-makers of tomorrow. Owning up the responsibility of future is the need of the hour. We have a responsibility of being good stakeholders of safe environment so that as a legacy, it can be passed on to the generations to come. Arjun of class VI recited a self-composed poem on the environment which was eye-opening and thought provoking.

The results were announced by Ms Amrita Ghulati and all the guests expressed their delight to see well researched wonderful presentations.
